Our Very First “People Mover”—Mack Buswell’s flat bed
trailer with sides! We were so Proud!!
If I remember correctly, our first year to operate the People
Movers was at Sun ‘n Fun 1988. Please let me know if that is
right.
Dan Barnes and Don Bossuyt had the original idea to do this.
Their first plan was to use an old school bus with the top
removed. The weight of the bus driving around the
Flightline made them rethink their vehicle. That’s when they
decided on the tractor drawn wagons roughly based on the
tour wagons used by Morrison’s Nursery in McAlpin.
